It's raining cats and dogs!

Well... yesterday morning Elizabeth came back into the house after letting the chickens out saying a cat was meowing and she would meow and it would meow back. I told her it was just our cat Oreo. (wishful thinking) So a little later I went out to feed everybody and let the horses out, well I her the meowing and since I'm used to meowing and was paying attention to the new dogs and the horses I thought it was our other cat Mufasa. Then I started listening a little closer to the sound of the meow; it was not Mufasa. It was a much younger sounding meow...then around the corner of our trailer comes this very persist ant little kitten. Even when McKenzie our black lab came up to it, it didn't back down, the dog back away. So here's a picture of our little no named little girl. I'm running out of names. I know Disney has many more names out there and I have thought of "Wendy" considering our other little ones but calling around the house for a "Peter" is a pushing it. I don't like people names for animals so much, there's always an exception; A regal looking shepherd or dane named "George" would be funny. I digress





As you see she is a Siamese and yes she has the voice of one too! She has quieted down today, thank goodness. Tink was getting a little irritated. Tinks expressions were priceless though, she's definitely in "teenage" mode. being 5 months old and all. Jeff and I think she was thrown from a car or something. She has some cuts and bruises and her bottom lip looks like its been pulled away from her jaw. :( She has an excellent motor! She already acts like this is her home and she's been here the entire time.
So I ask again who wants to house sit?!?!?!? TeeHee!

My Final Hoorah!!

Well It's my final Saturday of FREEDOM!!
This moringing Jeff and I went horseback riding. We have a wonderful friend that lets Jeff ride one of her horses. She has Appy's. We has sooo much fun; however I hurt a ton right now. Shenanigan (AKA: Gunner) is such a fun horse to ride; except when he gets spooked by horse eating sheep, I bet you didn't know that sheep liked horse just ask Gunner he'll tell you, and take off at a gallop through filbert orchards. And for those of you that don't know this is the time of year when they start HARVESTING! Yep a big ol' nut cluster in the eye!! We also almost finished the fencing! We have the back yard fenced off, much to Mckenzie's disappointment. The next task is the Taj Mahal of chicken coops. 8'x12' if only Darrold could come help us make sawdust! But I think he's having to much fun playing with rocks! (teehee)
Back to the ride this morning. We also have other friends that live next to someone that has 100's of acres that we can ride on. Most of which are the afore mentioned filbert orchards. He doesn't have the horse eating sheep, they were someone elses waiting in ambush for unsuspecting equines! We rode clear up on top of Butler Hill and had the most beautiful view of the wilamette valley, well if it wasn't so foggy it would have been the most beautiful view of the willamette valley. But anytime I can be on the back of my horse is a Good Time!!!

Ugh it's morning!

well i've gotten up and now i'm typing what has this world come to!!
you will notice no capital letters i'm not that awake yet!
zazu, our cockatiel, is already singing and is happy; stupid bird.
still nothing dead in the reef tank. steve has taken up residence in the only rock that doesn't have algae coating it. he it's algae that's why we got him.
speedy the snail, turbo snail to be exact, is really living up to his name, he's all over the place.
steve has moved yay! still too tired to get real excited.
Okay, I'm more awake. I fed all the critters at the "Power Zoo" and took most of their pictures now how do I put them on my blog...? Hey, there's a little "add Image" icon!!
