The end of day two...

is there really an end? It seems to just keep going... I really should stay up and study some more i have quizes and questions to take and answer but a full 24 hours of migraine has got me wanting to "just do it in the morning" We did start learning to give injections today. Fortunately my victim was a hapless piece of foam. Good thing because today I had two excedrin migraine and two hoodia capsules. I had enough caffeine in me to launch the Space Shuttle!! I had the jitters so bad I almost flung my poor piece of foam across the room!! So note to self lots of carbs and proteins Monday morning, I inject a fellow student then. Yikes! She's going to inject me too! Double YIKES!!!!!
So 32 weeks and 3 days left! (but I'm not counting ;0)

My Final Hoorah!!

Well It's my final Saturday of FREEDOM!!
This moringing Jeff and I went horseback riding. We have a wonderful friend that lets Jeff ride one of her horses. She has Appy's. We has sooo much fun; however I hurt a ton right now. Shenanigan (AKA: Gunner) is such a fun horse to ride; except when he gets spooked by horse eating sheep, I bet you didn't know that sheep liked horse just ask Gunner he'll tell you, and take off at a gallop through filbert orchards. And for those of you that don't know this is the time of year when they start HARVESTING! Yep a big ol' nut cluster in the eye!! We also almost finished the fencing! We have the back yard fenced off, much to Mckenzie's disappointment. The next task is the Taj Mahal of chicken coops. 8'x12' if only Darrold could come help us make sawdust! But I think he's having to much fun playing with rocks! (teehee)
Back to the ride this morning. We also have other friends that live next to someone that has 100's of acres that we can ride on. Most of which are the afore mentioned filbert orchards. He doesn't have the horse eating sheep, they were someone elses waiting in ambush for unsuspecting equines! We rode clear up on top of Butler Hill and had the most beautiful view of the wilamette valley, well if it wasn't so foggy it would have been the most beautiful view of the willamette valley. But anytime I can be on the back of my horse is a Good Time!!!

Talents

I just got home from enrichment meeting and we had a talent show. I think every one of us needs to look at our own lives and see what we can do. Just because some of us do not have "right brain" talents does not me we don't have a talent. And even the prophets say that we need to relish in our talents and not "diss" them. I have a real problem when people act all "humble"ish and not give themselves the credit they deserve! I mean Heavenly Father created us in his own image and Jesus died for us. We are all wonderful and special; don't take what you can do better or easier than someone else as less than a blessings and a talent. I think that someone who can work with numbers is a phenomenal talent. So please let us all think of ourselves as wonderful sons and daughters of our Heavenly Father!

HELP!!

I'm in desperate need of HELP!!
Now that Mom has convinced me to start "Blogging" I have found myself with an internal "blog" voice. I had no idea that I had such a thing let alone the ability to use it, however I have found myself having an internal dialog using this new found ability. I noticed it in the shower a minute ago looking at the ingredients of our new shampoo, yes, yes some people will read just about anything, it said on there "...kelp extracts.." and I thought in my new found blog voice "I wonder if I could get the algae out of my reef tank and use that on my hair to add moisture, seeing how Steve and Sebastian have taken up residence on the only rocks that don't have green vegetation waving at me." Again I say this with my new blog voice. So my question is to Kiera seeing how she "assimilated" Mom onto this who thus "assimilated" me into this... WILL I EVER BE ABLE TO THINK IN "NORMAL" (loosely stated) VOICE AGAIN OR AM I STUCK IN BLOGDOM FOR EVER?!

well i've gotten up and now i'm typing what has this world come to!!

zazu, our cockatiel, is already singing and is happy; stupid bird.
still nothing dead in the reef tank. steve has taken up residence in the only rock that doesn't have algae coating it. he it's algae that's why we got him.
speedy the snail, turbo snail to be exact, is really living up to his name, he's all over the place.
steve has moved yay! still too tired to get real excited.
Okay, I'm more awake. I fed all the critters at the "Power Zoo" and took most of their pictures now how do I put them on my blog...? Hey, there's a little "add Image" icon!!

Okay Mom I did what you told me to...

Here It goes I'm blogging!
I start my last year in Dental Hygiene on the 29th of September so I may not blog very much or I might do it a lot because I'll be procrastinating my school work!!
I do want to tell everyone about my new passion!! It's my 55 gallon saltwater tank! I ABSOLUTELY Love it!! I haven't had to take my Lexapro for a week. It is so relaxing watching all the little critters moving around and growing from the live rock. Today we got a blenny (fish) E named it Steve. A zebra striped snail named Speedy and an emerald crab named Sebastian. We already have a Nemo, Bubbles, Jauque, and three other nameless fish. I've been completely obsessed with it scince our friend Stacey gave us this tank. Yep I typed gave us it. I surely see this as a complete blessing. Jeff and I were talking and we couldn't think of a time when we would have the money to spend on a frivolus joy as a saltwater tank, the tank standing next to me is about $1000.00 worth. Our friends didn't spend that much, they got it at a great deal on craiglist. So far I haven't lost a single animal!!! I appriciate the blessing that Stacey intrusted me to have this tank and I am so greatful! I'll get some pictures of it as soon as I figure this stuff out. If you can't wait that long go to Photobucket.com and type in bpowerful2 and you should be able to find me and pictures of Elizabeth, our new kittens and other family photos.
I'm going to go for now I have to go and feed all the meriad of animals on the property, Elizabeth is wanting to add a rat to the managerie. I got her cleaning the litterbox for an undisclosed amount of time before that happens.
